Shri Narasimha Tirtha is the first Pontiff in the lineage of Shri Adamaru Matha. The centerpiece of Shri Adamaru Mathas the Chaturbhuja Kaliya Mardhana Krishna worshipped by Acharya Madhwa himself. The present Senior Pontiff is Shri Vishwapriya Teertha and Junior Pontiff Shri Eeshapriya Teertha.

The lineage begins with Shriman Madhwacharya who bestowed Yatiashrama to Shri Narasimha Teertha.
As Shri Narayana Pandit Acharya says, Shri Madhwacharya named his disciples by recognizing their characteristics. As quoted in the Madhwa Vijaya Narasimha Padadharah, Shri Narasimha Teertha was graced by Lord Narasimha which Shriman Madhwacharya recognized.
He was an ardent devotee who spent all his years in lesson and discourse. Later, he toured the Punyakshetras in India. Narasimha Teertha was a Mahatapasvi. He bestowed Sanyasa ashrama to Kamelekshara Teertha on his pilgrimage to the North, he attained Haripada in Baghirathi in 1310, Sowmya nama samvatsara Chaitra Shudda Panchami
There is very little information available. He decorated the Peetha for 21 years like his Guru and attained Haripada in Baghirathi river on Vaishaka Shuddha Dwadashi.
He is known to have taught all the Granthas to 21 disciple in Udupi along with the commentaries. After handing over the Peetha to his disciple Vidhyadheesha, he undertook teertha yatra and attained Haripada in Ayodhya.
He attained Haripada in Dwaraka. He was peethadhipati for 12 years.
He was in Peetha for 16 years. During his yatra he attained Brindawana in Godawari Teertha by jumping himself (this is recorded in kaifi).
He is 6th peetadhipati and attained Haripada in Vrindhavana
He undertook Ramasetu Yatra and participated in many vidvad sabhas and defeated many pandits of different philosophies. He attained Brindhavana in Moola Kaveri Thera.
He decorated the Peetha for 3 years and attained Haripada during Rameshwaram (Ramasethu) Yatra.
He is also known as Vedhamurthy Teertharu as per matha records, he attained Hari Pada Namathuve.
He decorated the Peetha for many years and preached Madhwa Matha by undertaking teerthayatra. He attained Haripada in Teertharajapur on banks of Tunga Bhadra.
He decorated the Peetha for 10 years with nishta and attained Haripada in Talakala Matha.
He belonged to the same contemporary of Shri Vadiraja Gurusarvabhouma. He toured around Kashi, Prayaga and other holy places. He defeated many vaadis in the rule of the Vijayanagara empire. The Matha received Gold Palakki and other valuable donations by Ramaraja during his period. His Brindavana is present in Bana Teertha.

He decorated the Paryaya Peetha two times. He attained Haripada in Kelevara on banks of river of Bagheerathi.
He was in ashrama for 20 years. During his pilgrimage to South India, he attained brindavana in Ramasetu.
He decorated the peetha for 30 years. He attained Haripada in Shorpali Kshetra, near Bagalkote on the banks of river Krishna.
Ashrama duration – 20 years. He attained Haripada near the banks of Godavari in Dharmapuri Kshetra.
He spent a lot of his ashrama years in Dharmapuri near the Brindavana of his Guru. He would arrive to Udupi and complete the Paryaya and spent the other 14 years in Dharmapuri.
He decorated the peetha for 20 years and attained Haripada in Udupi.
His Brindhavana is in moola Adamaru.
He toured all the Teertha Kshetras during sanchara during his last days he gave ashrama to Shri Vedhavandhya Teethraru and obtained haripada in Adamaru.
He decorated the peta for 2decades after which he gave ashrama to Shri Vidyesha Teertharu and entered brindavana in Adamaru.

His poorva ashrama name is Dasappacharaya, his parents are Sri. Rangappacharya and Smt.Padmavatamma. He was born in Pramoda nama samvatsara, Jeshta bahula Amavase in a place called Yedaneeru, Kunjarugiri.
His upanayana was celebrated when he was 8 years, he undertook his further studies under Shri Vibhudadiraja Teertharu. His brilliance in studies with caliber (ಬುದ್ದಿ, ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯ, ಮೇಧಾ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಚಾಕ ಚಕ್ಯತೆ) was recognized by Shri Vibhdadirajaru gave ashrama and named his as Shri Vibhudapriya.
Further Shri Vibhudapriya Teertharu went for further studies in Nyaya, Vedantha under Shri Vishwadeesha Teertharu of Shri Sodha Matha. He was knowledgeable in Purohitya and Ayurveda Shastra also
Shri Vibhudapriya Teertharu encouraged vendatha and formal education. Shri Swamigalu gave gold ornaments and cash for those completing Sriman Nyaya Sudha, by this way he attracted students made them pandiths.
Shri Swamigalu hosted Nyaya Sudha mangathsavas in moola Adamaru. Most of the Astha matha swamigalu which includes Shri Vidyasamudhra Teerthatu (Kaniyoor Matha), Shri Raghumanyaru (Palimaru Matha), Shri Vishwamanyaru (Pejavara Matha), Shri Sugnanendra Teertharu (Puthige Matha) and many grihasthas completed Sriman Nyaya Sudha from him.
Shri Swamigalu had also invited Gattada Melena Matha swamigalu also to participate and Shri Satyagnana Teertharu (Uttardhi Matha) and Shri Susheelendra Teertharu (Raghavendra Swami Matha) participated.
Shri Swamigalu was religious, had great knowledge of society and good knowledge of Shastras. He was a good orator and famous for his pravachana’s. During his period Matha had 2 Elephants and was at peak his portrait can be seen in front Adamaru Matha, Udupi. He was instrumental in establishing Sanskrit College in Udupi. He gave sanyasa ashrama to Vidyamanya Teertha of Bhandarakeri Mutt who later became head of Palimar Mutt also
Shri Swamigalu completed 3 paryayas during 1892-94, 1908-10 and 1924-26.During this paryaya period Ganga Devi came like a white water on the North – east of Madhwasarovara, in remembrance of this Shri Swamigalu installed Bhaghirathi in Madhwasarovara. He also built chowki building which was completed during Shri Krishnapura Matha. He also renovated the Math cowshed, the main entrance of the Sri Krishna Math and Sri Chandramouleshewara Temple
During his last days Shri Swamigalu took sanchara to Badri, Kashi, Rameshwara and he also gifted a Chariot to Lord Narasimha in Ghatikachala and attained Hari pada in 1928 in Ghatikachala.
Shri Swamigalu took the sanyasa ashrama in 1920 when he was 8 years. He was brilliant in all shastras who was a disciple of Shri Padamnuru Narayanacharya. Shri Swamigalu was good in Sangeetha and Sahitya. During his 1940 he had several dreams like converting Udupi into big pilgrimage centre, and construct an own building for Samskrutha college which was started by his gurugalu, Yatri nivas for pilgrims. His dreams did not come true due to attaining Hari pada at the age of 24. His Brindavana is in Adamaru village.
Shri Swamigala poorvasharama name was Ramesh born in 1928, Mulki. When he was in his youth and studying in class ten, he was attracted to the speeches of Mahatma Gandhi and was imitating Gandhi’s speech. He was given Sanyasa deekshe when he was at the age of 17years (1945 Parthiva samvatsara Jesta, Bahula Thirthya) from Shri Raghumanya Swamigalu, Palimar matha. He went to Pt. Narayanacharya for studies and completed tarka, Vedanta and shastra and studied Nyaya Sudha under Shri Vidyasamudra Swamigalu of Kaniyoor matha completed the successfully and also thought same to many students.
Shri Swamigalu had good command in Samskrutha, Kannada and English and was a good orator.
As per the desire of his gurugalu, he completed the own building of samskrutha college and till now called as noble college.

In 1972 (Paridhaavi, Nijavaishaakha, bahula Pancham ) Sri Swamigalu gave sanyasa deekshe to Raghavendra and named him as Vishwapriya Teertharu
Second Paryaya – 1972 -74
During this paryaya many VVIPS and dignitaries visited Krishna Matha whom included PM Smt. Indira Gandhi, Sri. YB Chavan, Dr. Sarojini Mahishi, Shri T P Pai

Fourth paryaya 2004-2006
1. Bhojana Shale building
His contribution to society is by establishing Poornaprajna Education Council which is managing numerous schools, colleges and science research.
He also established first chowtry for pilgrims.
During third and fourth Paryaya he did not ascend the Sarvajnapeeta and gave it to his disciple Shri Vishwapriya Teertharu.
Sri Swamigalu attained the Hari pada in Udupi in Vikrodhi samvatsara Ashvija masa Shukla Ekadhasi 2009. His Brindhavana is in moola Adamaru.
Born to Sri Gururaja Muchintaya and Smt.Laxmi couples as 5th child on 30.6.1958 in Mudubedare near Puthige and name as Raghavendra Muchintaya.
In 1966 upanayana in Tirumala primary education in Puthige got sanyayasa deekshe on 1.6.1972 during Adamaru Paryaya. He was sent to Shri Vidyamanya Teertharu of Palimaru matha for sashtra adyana along with Shri Sugunedra Teertharu (Puthige matha), Shri Vidyadheesha Teertharu (Palimaru Matha), Shri Vidyeesha Teertharu (Bandakere Matha).
Sri Swamigalu completed Nyaya Sudha in 1984 at Adamaru. Sri Swamigalu though shastra pata many grihastas and Karnool Srinivasacharya, Vamshikrishna Acharya Purohit and Raghuttomacharya are his few disciples.
First Paryaya 1988-90
Ashrama Guru Shri Vibudheshateertha Swamiji performed Paryaya through Shri Vishwapriyateertharu.
Shri Vibudheshateertharu looked after renovation of Shri Krishna Mutt, construction of Bhojana Shale and other facilities. Shri Vishwapriyateertharu involved in Shri Krishna Pooje, Dharmika-Samskrutika Programs, Paatha-Pravachana. During Paryaya Daily evening He delivered Pravachana on Shri Mahabharatha.
Second Paryaya 2004-06
Shri Vishwapriyateertharu performed Paryaya Utsava independently by the order of Shri Vibudheshateertharu.
Shri Swamigalu did pravachana on Vishnu sahasra nama giving meanings for all 1000 names which went of full two years.
During this Paryaya some works were take like Renovation of Silver Chariot, Continuation of ‘Chinnara Santarpane’ yojane started by Shri Palimaru Mutt Swamiji, re-construction of Shri Krishna Mutt Gopura (Kanaka) and many more.
Shri Vishwapriyateertha Swamiji is well known for his achievements in spiritual sphere. He has enlightened thousands of people through his profound discourses, full of spiritual thoughts.
Born to Sri to Chandrashekhar S. and Shrimathi Gouri on March 20th, 1985 the youngest of four sons in Shiroor village, near Hiriyadka was named as Shreesha.
During his poorvasharama, Shreesha studied upto PU in Tirthahalli, Shimoga and completed his BE in Mechanical Engineering at the Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering in Shimoga in 2006. During his poorvasharma he was attracted to spirituality from young age had studied Sanskrit grammar, Mahabharata Tatparya Nirnaya, Vishnutatva Nirnaya and Amarakosha.
The pattabhisheka ceremony was held at Shri Durga Devi Temple in Kunjaruguri on July 19th 2014 by both Shri Vishwapriyateertharu and Shri Vidyadheeshateertharu of Shri Palimar Matha.
Presently, doing Shastra Adhyayana under Shri. Vidyadheeshateertha Swamiji of Shri Palimar Matha.
